Architectural composition 1
TEMATY ĆWICZEŃ PROJEKTOWYCH
„PROJEKTOWANIE ARCHITEKTONICZNE I”
Topics:
Element hierarchy

The theme of geometric composition in architecture, in addition to being a fundamental basis for the knowledge of the subject, finds an immediate architectural reflection in some modern and contemporary projects. The experience of the Dutch constructionism of Van Eyck and Henzberger has left some important evidence where the reading of the plan and the elevations is determined by a system of primary and secondary elements, elements of connection and elements of stasis, aggregate and isolated elements.
Starting from the redesign of some of these projects and other projects with a similar approach, the student will be asked to recognize the different elements of the composition and to draw graphic diagrams to illustrate the relationships.
Subsequently, the planimetric scheme defined by reading the given project will have to be volumetrically developed in an innovative way with respect to the initial premises.
The student will have to give a new role to the elements and then define a new composition, developed volumetrically.

Phase 1 - Duration 33h
The first part of the course will be developed graphically:
starting from the survey, the student will define a matrix that will be replicated on a 30X30cm cardboard in 2 versions: black and white and colors
